Google Analytics: Was the first time special?

Google Analytics: Was the first time special?

Okay I’ll admit it. I can’t remember the last time I looked at my Google Analytics results. I know there’s heaps of useful information there, but I get data overload and wimp out.

So I was delighted when the delightful Melinda Samson (from Click-Winning Content) offered to shed some light on the murky confusion of all things Google Analytics. I almost did a wee of excitement when she said she’d ‘do me a video’! It’s my first video tutorial guest blog thingo! Whoop!

This video examines how new visitors use the site as compared to repeat visitors. With most of my new visitors I’m sure it’s LOVE AT FIRST SITE (get it?) But it’s probably more of a one night stand. Who knows? Well Melinda does, watch her video to find out…

Who is Melinda Samson?

Melinda aka Mel is the biz owner of Click-Winning Content. Qualified in both Google AdWords and Analytics, she is committed to never using an acronym without explaining it first. Mel also likes grand slam tennis, cracked pepper and Melbourne sunsets.

Thanks for this Melissa and Kate. Google Analytics is something that I skim over, but don’t really know how to analyze well, and this was a great introduction to getting my head around it!
